TAXI is part of a project of sound cartography of the Bogotá public transport system tracing the displacements along the urban space. Bogotá has been radically developed and the sound experience of the place has been transformed as well. Taxi is a sound map that takes track of one of the possible percours that goes along one of the most important avenues in the city. Made inside a vehicle, the recording tries to keep the memory of the actual sounds that are going to disappear together with the urban mutations.
