This audiowork is made up of different sounds recorded at the train station. I create different sound textures that can be found there, emphasizing time as the main concept of the work and trying to use diverse timbres to conceive different atmospheres. [Alfonso Carrasco]

Alfonso Carrasco was born in Mexico, where he studied Arts and violoncello, attending the bachelor of music at the University of Xalapa (Veracruz). As part of his musical training, he integrated various orchestras in Mexico, as the Youth Orchestra of the State of Veracruz. He has lived and worked in Barcelona for four years, where he has studied refresher courses of instrumental music at the Conservatorio del Liceu, and the degree of Composition and New Technologies at the Pompeu Fabra University. He participated in concerts of contemporary music in galleries in Barcelona, as in the Space of Contemporary Art Niu. In 2007, he participated in the 5th International Competition for Electroacoustic Miniatures organized by the Government of Andalusia; in 2008, he took part in the Zeppelin Festival in Barcelona in the Contemporary Culture Centre of Barcelona (CCCB), the Transhift 08 Festival in Knoxville (Tennessee) and the 7th International Image Festival of Manizales (Colombia).
