Radio Papesse

A documentary and musical radio project produced by Jonathan Frigeri & Maxime Lacôme in 2018.
The musical composition was entirely created from domestic sounds collected from the inhabitants of the neighbourhood who opened their doors to share their favourite, favourite or dreaded sound.

This approach aims at putting in relation the sounds of the intimate space and the potential musicality which results from it. At the end of the collection, the sounds are arranged to create a musical composition that will be reintroduced into the home through the radio waves. These intimate sounds have become, for the duration of a broadcast, a collective sound work. Door to door sound, sounds collected in the houses of the Chant d'oiseau neighbourhood in Brussels.
