Novembre 2008. Al Centro Culture Contemporanee Strozzina di Palazzo Strozzi abbiamo incontrato Dan Perjovschi in occasione della mostra Arte Prezzo e Valore.
Il suo lavoro esplora i nessi fra arte, società e politica e proprio di questo abbiamo parlato, ma per affrontare il lavoro realizzato a Firenze la nostra conversazione è partita da più lontano, dalla Biennale di Venezia del 2007.
L'intervista è stata registrata nel bar di Palazzo Strozzi (da lì i suoni di tazze e macchine da caffè) e la musica fa parte della compilation Two Zombies Later pubblicata dalla netlabel Comfort Stand Recordings.

Novembre 2008. We met Dan Perjovschi at the Contemporary Culture Center Strozzina right before an Artist Talk he was going to host there.
He's been invited at CCCS Strozzina to take part in the exhibition Money Price Value.
Born in 1961 and educated in the Romanian socialism system, Dan Perjovschi create work that resides at the nexus of art, society and politics. He is internationally renowned for large and small scale drawing installations of hundreds of cartoon-like figures that comment on local, national and international cultural and current affairs.
Our conversation with him did not move directly from the work he realized in Florence, but form what happened at the Venice Biennale of 2007.
The interview was recorded at the bar inside Palzzo Strozzi (this explains the coffee machine and cups sounds) and the music comes from the compilation Two Zombies Later published by Comfort Stand Recordings.
