Turin. Radio Papesse is media partner of the Merz Foundation, on the occasion of Kara Walker. A negress of noteworthy talent, a solo show dedicated to American artist Kara Walker. The project, curated by Olga Gambari, focuses on the mythical memory that takes shape within her work: a memory undergoing a constant metamorphosis, where personal facts connect to a collective experience that can be shared by all.

Revolving around the exhibition of the artist’s works at the Fondazione Merz (from March 25 to July 3), Luca Morena has curated an International conference on the political and psychological element of race stereotypes and a workshop, together with Kara and writer Rebecca Walker, for students from the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti and the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Torino.

Radio Papesse's collaboration took shape around it and you can now listen to several productions: audio diaries, a radio drama and an interview to Kara Walker.
